What can we say about Athena. We just love this doe. We keep trying for a herd sire out of her, but she keeps popping out twin does every freshening. (Not that we're complaining)
We nearly lost Athena in February of 2018. She was seizing and unable to stand. We said our goodbyes ready to call the Vet. Then we saw her press her head against a wall like she had a migraine and we knew exactly what was wrong. We drew blood and sent it off to OSU diagnostics and the very next day we had our answer. Crypococcus Gatti. Again. We started treatment immediately with leftover medication from JB, and our vet gave us a prescription for a new bottle. Within 2 week there was drastic improvement. By July, we had Athena milking nearly 6lbs, and she scored FS92. It was truly a medical miracle.
